Her first four albums have sold over 10.3 million copies in the United States.

Clarkson has toured extensively worldwide as a solo act. After Clarkson’s appearance on the CMT Crossroads and her duet version of “Because of You” (2007) with Reba McEntire, they co-headlined the 2 Worlds 2 Voices Tour (2008).

(PRVegas.com) – November 5, 2009 – Bette Midler announced today that the final performance of her critically acclaimed Las Vegas show The Showgirl Must Go On will be Sunday, January 31, 2010. The final performance will mark the end of her two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace which began on February 20, 2008.

“What a fabulous two years this has been, and I thank AEG and Caesars Palace for the best partnership a showgirl could imagine. Who knows? These legs have had such a great run in the desert—it may be time to haul them to places with more humidity and fewer slot machines. But first I need to finish recording my album of the sexiest new love songs that only a showgirl could sing,” stated Midler.

“Bette is one of the most talented, hard working professionals in the business and we would have loved for her to stay longer, said John Meglen, co-CEO and President of AEG Live/Concerts West. “All of us at AEG Live thank Bette and the entire cast, crew and staff for a great two year run at The Colosseum.”

Rounding out the field of eaters is poker legend Phil Hellmuth. His 2007 World Series of Poker win was his 11th career WSOP title. Having amassed an unsurpassed record 11 World Series of Poker championships, he will try his hand at becoming the Martorano’s Masters Meatball Eating Champion.

U2 Tour

The long awaited concert at Sam Boyd Stadium will happen tonight, U2 and the Black Eyed Peas.

The U2 360° Tour presented by BlackBerry. Having seen Rick Thomas at the Tropicana many years ago and then at the Stardust before it was imploded and after moving to the Orleans Casino  before closing I can say I have seen Rick Thomas.  However after attending an SPCA fundraiser and previewing his new show at the Sahara Hotel and Casino I have to say I am very impressed.  The show is flawless, his stage presence and magical illusions have never been better and the Bengal tigers vanish and appear right before your eyes.  He combines the illusions with dance and entertaining and touching stories as he shares his story of his dream.  You will enjoy every moment from the magic and illusions, the magical rings that he does so well and his magic with birds is fun and amazing.  The most important thing that stands out for me is this is a show for the whole family, it’s clean, entertaining and fun and I watched audience members of all ages just having a good time enjoying and amazed from illusion after illusion.
